What You Think You Need to Start a Business (vs. What You Actually Need)
If you’ve ever felt called to start—or grow—a business but found yourself overwhelmed before you even began, you’re not alone.
So many purpose-driven women believe there’s a long list of things they must have in place before they’re “allowed” to move forward.
And that belief?
It’s the very thing keeping them stuck.
Let’s talk about the gap between what you think you need and what you really need to build a meaningful, revenue-generating business—without burning everything else down.

The Myth: You Have to Start Over to Start Fresh

One of the biggest lies women tell themselves is this:
“I need to leave everything I have now and start over.”
That’s rarely true.

In fact, starting from scratch often creates more fear, more resistance, and more instability.
What you really need is to start right where you are—with what you already have—and keep going.
Your experience, relationships, wisdom, and life season are not obstacles. They are assets.
Calling doesn’t require chaos.

The Cost Myth: More Money, More Tech, More Time

Another common belief?
“I need an expensive website, complicated funnels, and months of tech setup before I can make money.”
Here’s the truth:
Complexity delays momentum.
What actually works—especially in the beginning—is a simple place to connect with your ideal client.
Something like a Facebook group where you can show up consistently, build trust, and have real conversations.
Connection always beats perfection.

The Skills Myth: One More Certification Will Fix It

Many women feel stuck because they believe they aren’t “qualified enough yet.”
So they collect certifications.
Courses.
Credentials.
But the truth is, your lived experience matters.
What you really need is a clear offer—one that serves others based on what you already know, what you’ve walked through, and what God has refined in you over time.
You don’t need more letters after your name.
You need clarity and confidence.

The Time Myth: Hustle Is the Price of Impact

We’ve been sold the idea that impact and "true" entrepreneurship requires exhaustion.

That if you aren’t working 60 hours a week—pushing, grinding, and sacrificing everything—you aren’t serious.
But that model burns out good women with good hearts.

What you really need is a proven, simple system that works within your real life.

Something you can implement in about 10 focused hours a week—not a lifestyle overhaul that costs you your health, faith, or family.
Impact doesn’t require martyrdom.

The Truth: Simple, Steady, Aligned Action Wins

You don’t need to:
  • Burn down your current life
  • Spend thousands before you earn a dollar
  • Prove yourself with more credentials
  • Work yourself into the ground
You need:
  • Permission to start where you are
  • A clear, aligned offer
  • A simple place to connect with your people
  • A system that honors your time and responsibilities
This is exactly why the 10:10 Impact Club exists.
It’s built for women who know they’re called for more—but refuse to neglect everything else to get there.
You’re not behind.
You’re not missing something.
You just need a simpler path forward.
And it’s closer than you think.

Meet Heather Venenga

Hi, I’m Heather — and I’m so glad you’re here.

People often ask how I became so passionate about coaching, and the truth is… it wasn’t a straight line. I started my career in corporate America, doing the big work — leading multi-state operations, running large acquisitions, managing teams, and handling the kind of responsibility most people climb for years to reach. From the outside, it looked like I had “made it.”

But deep down, I knew God was preparing me for something different.
So I did something most people thought was crazy:

I stepped off the corporate ladder, moved back home to South Dakota, and supported my husband as he took over the family farm. In that transition, I became a financial advisor — which sounds neat and tidy, the first years were amazing but the truth is I hit a very hard year at about year 5.  I was struggling, overwhelmed, and honestly questioning everything.

And then I made another bold (and slightly terrifying) decision…
I hired a coach.

Her fee was more than I had made the entire year before. It made zero logical sense.

But I knew I needed help.
Within the first six weeks, I made $70,000.
That was the moment coaching changed my life.
Not just financially — but in how I saw possibility, calling, and the power of having the right support.

I coached inside that program for four years, helping entrepreneurs at every stage find clarity, build confidence, and turn their ideas into income. At the same time, I continued to grow as an advisor and even owned my own firm for part of that journey. I loved entrepreneurship. I loved helping people. I loved seeing transformation happen.

But I missed coaching — the heart work, the impact work, the life-changing work.

So I created my own company: CFI Coaching – Called for Impact.

Today, I help entrepreneurs grow purpose-driven, revenue-generating businesses with clarity, confidence, and simple strategies that actually work. I also teach people how to write and launch bestselling books — just like I have — so they can expand their influence, stand out in their industry, and grow their market share.

Over the years, I’ve developed a system I’m incredibly proud of — a blend of faith-led clarity, organic social media growth, authentic client attraction, and a proven 10-hour weekly rhythm that helps people grow their business without burnout.

I believe the worldwide web is one of the most amazing gifts for entrepreneurs. Never in history have we had the ability to reach people across the globe, share our message, and build businesses simply by showing up consistently and authentically.

And that’s why I created The 10:10 Impact Club — a community where entrepreneurs can grow their business, strengthen their impact, and step into the abundance God designed for them… without sacrificing their peace, their family, or their life.

I’m honored you’re here, and I can’t wait to support you on this journey.
Let’s build something incredible together.
